Popular Tomato Recipes Non-Vegetarian

Every thing about Popular Tomato Recipes Non-Vegetarian | Vahrehvah :

Tomatoes are one of the vital ingredients in almost everybody’s kitchen in India. It is a very versatile food item which comes in different shapes, colours and sizes. Tomatoes are found either red, green, yellow or orange and they give a pleasant sweet and acidic taste to the dish. Fresh tomatoes can be eaten raw. They help in giving a dense texture to any dish apart from its unique taste.

In Indian cuisine, tomatoes are used in thousands of ways either chopped, sliced, blanched, pureed etc. They are added into making some very luscious soups, salads. The chopped tomatoes are best used in making different types of curries, gravies or bhuna dishes while the sliced tomatoes are good for salads or garnishing the dishes. Blanched tomatoes are generally used for preparing sweet, tarts etc.

Cored tomatoes can be used for stuffing and baking. The halves of tomatoes and the quartered tomatoes can be used for making salads, stir fried vegetables, pizza’s pasts, etc. They are great addition to bean dishes and vegetable soups. Tomatoes are a great source of diet. The raw tomatoes can be turned into delicious diet salads. They can be also used for making diet omelettes, sandwiches, wraps and many more such dishes.

The benefits are not just limited to our households but are an excellent source of vitamin A, C and K. They are low in fat, low calorie, sodium and cholesterol free. Tomatoes are also a great source of molybdenum, potassium, manganese, iron, dietary fiber, chromium, and vitamin B1. The consumption of fresh and healthy tomatoes is the basic source of vitamin B6, folate, copper, niacin, vitamin B2, magnesium, iron, pantothenic acid, phosphorus, vitamin E and protein.

They are best to maintain the cholesterol levels and also for reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease. Loaded with many benefits, they are incredibly versatile and can be prepared in a seemingly endless number of dishes, as well as being great to eat alone.
