Bottle Gourd Flat Bread Recipe, How To Make Bottle Gourd Flat Bread Recipe

Bottle gourd flat bread is brilliant Indian flat bread made with grated Lauki/ Kaddu/ bottle gourd flavored with Ajwain (carom seeds) mixed to whole wheat flour, chickpea flour combined together to form a soft dough, prepared as nice rotis and tawa fried. Serve with Korma or Salan or pickle.

Ingredients used in BOTTLE GOURD FLAT BREAD
• Grated lauki/bottlegourd - 1 cup.
• Chickpea flour - 1 tablespoon.
• Yogurt - 1 tablespoon.
• Wheat flour - 1 cup.
• Carom seeds - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Chopped green chillies - 1 tablespoons.
• Chopped coriander - 1/4 bunch.
• Oil - 1 tablespoons.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Take a bowl add grated lauki in this add carom seeds, salt, chopped green chillies, yogurt, chopped coriander, chickpea flour, wheat flour, mix it like a soft dough.
  • Divide the dough into equal portions and using the rolling pin with the help of dry flour roll them like a chapathi.
  • Place the chapathi on the hot tawa and cook this with oil on both sides.
  • Now the hot lauki ka roti are ready to serve.
