Ingredients used in SURA PUTTU
• Sura/thai fish - 250 grams.
• Onion (sliced) - 3 no.
• Coriander powder - 2 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - half teaspoons.
• Tamarind juice - 2 tablespoons.
• Chopped garlic clove - 9 no.
• Chopped green chilies - 3 no.
• Red chilli powder - 2 tablespoons.
• Curry leaves - 2 sticks.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - 0.
Method:
  • Cook fish with tamarind juice, turmeric powder and little bit salt for 10 min.
  • Remove the bones from the fish and make it into small pieces. Keep aside.
  • Add oil in a hot pan. Add onions, green chillies and curry leaves. When this is half cooked, add full garlic and cook for 10 min.
  • Now add chilli powder and coriander powder. cook for 3 min and add the fish. Cook this till the moisture goes away.

Yummy Sura Puttu is ready to serve.
