HONEY GREEN CHICKEN

Ingredients used in HONEY GREEN CHICKEN
• Lemon juice - 1 number.
• Onions (finely chopped) - 2 numbers.
• Chilly - 5 numbers.
• Black pepper (whole) - 8-10 numbers.
• Corriander leaves - small bunch.
• Curry leaves - small bunch.
• Lemon leaves - 6-7 numbers.
• Ginger garlic paste - 2 tablespoons.
• Honey - 3 tablespoons.
• Chicken - 750 grams.
• Tomotato sauce (optional) - 2 tablespoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - 50 ml.
• Cummin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Marinate chicken in lemon juice, honey 1tablespoon and ginger garlic paste for about 20minutes.
  • Grind lemon leaves, curry leaves, coriander leaves, chilly and black pepper into a fine paste .
  • Heat oil in wide open pan.
  • Add cumin seeds and finely chopped onions. let the onions turn dark brown in colour.
  • Then add the remaining ginger garlic paste and cook for few more minutes.
  • Now add chicken and cook for about 10 minutes and then add the ground paste to it.
  • Cook for another 15 minutes and then add the remaining 2 tablespoon of honey to it. simmer and cook the chicken till its tender .
  • You can add tomato sauce which is an optional one.
  • Cook till the chicken become dry and serve.
  • The chicken will turn green in color and dark brown patches here and there. Try it its really amazing.
