Ingredients used in CHICKEN CAFREAL
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Pepper corns - 10 numbers.
• Cloves - 10 numbers.
• Cinnamon - 1 stick.
• Coriander(chopped) - 1 bunch.
• Ginger - 2 small pieces.
• Tamarind - 20 grams.
• Green chilly - 10 numbers.
• Garlic - 10 numbers.
• Poppy seeds - 1 tablespoon.
• Oil - 3 tablespoons.
• Chicken - 1000 grams.
• Salt - to taste.
• Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons.
• Rum - 2 tablespoons.
• Onion(rings) - 1 number.
Method:
  • Heat a pan add cinnamon stick, cloves, peppercorns, cumin seeds, poppy seeds, dry roast the ingredients put it in the blender make a powder.
  • Heat oil in a pan add tamarind, garlic, ginger, green chilly, cook this till green chilly are soft, add chopped coriander, add turmeric, switch off the flame.
  • Make a paste along with made powder in a blender.
  • Take a bowl add the made paste, salt, lemon juice, add chicken, mix this well.
  • Marinated chicken put it in the refrigerator for at least 4 to 6 hours or overnight.
  • Heat oil in a pan and arrange the chicken pieces put the lid on cook for 7 minutes on a slow flame, cook this other side also 7 minutes.
  • Add rum in the chicken and add onion slices, split green chilly.
