Ingredients used in BEETROOT RICE
• Coriander leaves - 2 spring.
• Oil - as required.
• Salt - to taste.
• Peas - half cup.
• Onion - 1 small.
• Green chillies - 4 numbers.
• Gasagasallu - 1 tablespoon.
• Garlic - 4 cloves.
• Ginger - 1 slice.
• Dhaniya powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Coconut powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Rice cooked - 2 cups.
• Beetroot grated - 1 cup.
• Curry leaves - 1 spring.
• Whole garam masala - 1 tea spoon.
• Cashew nuts - 2 tablespoons.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
  • First of all for the masala grind Cococnut powder, dhaniya powder, ginger, garlic, gasagasallu, chilli grind to to anice powder and keep aside Now peel the beetroot and grate .
  • Cook the rice separately and let it cool. Take a vessel add oil in it then add cumin seeds, whole garam masala, cahews, curry leaves then add chopped onions and add salt to it and fry until they are slightly brown.
  • Then add the ground masala until the oil comes out of itand now add the grated beetroot to it and fry them until oil comes out of it then add green peas to it.
  • And smmer it for few seconds now add the cooked rice to it.and mix well and simmer it for few more seconds.

Atlast garnish it with coriander leaves now you can enjoy eating beetroot rice.
