CHINTAKAYA CHITRANNAM

Ingredients used in CHINTAKAYA CHITRANNAM
• Tender tamarind - 1 cup.
• Oil - 2 teaspoons.
• Mustard seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Chana dal - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Urad dal - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Cashew nuts - 4-5 numbers.
• Red chilies - 2-3 numbers.
• Green chilies - 4-5 numbers.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Turmeric powder - 1 pinch.
• Salt - to taste.
• Rice (boiled) - 2 cups.
Method:
  • In a hot water put tender tamarind and boil for 2-3 minutes then put it in a blender and make it like a paste.
  • In a pan, heat the oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chana dal, urad dal, cashew nuts, red chilies, green chilies, curry leaves, turmeric powder, salt and fry them.
  • Now add tamarind paste, rice mix well and serve.

ls chef when you cook and teach pls tell the English names of the ingredients you use than hindi words .bcas all over the world fans are watching you as a sri Lankan some times i cant understand some names of ingredients.thank you
