Ingredients used in Batter Fried Chicken
• Egg - 2 numbers.
• Salt - to taste.
• Pepper powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Chicken - 1000 grams.
• All purpose flour - 1 cup.
• Soda - 1/2 cup.
• Oil - to fry.
Method:
  • In a bowl add chicken pieces, salt, water, put it in the refrigerator overnight.
  • In another bowl add pepper powder, salt, all-purpose flour, egg, soda, mix this like a thick batter.
  • Take out the chicken and dip it into the batter and rest it for another 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  • Then deep fry the chicken into the hot oil transfer into a plate and serve this hot.

There are various variations of making a batter fried chicken while this is one of the simplest and easiest ways of preparing a quickie non-vegetarian starter/ appetizer. Kids would just love to eat.

 

Batter fried chicken is one of the most-liked trendy snack especially among kids. The crispy fried chicken tastes extremely remarkable with subtle flavors lingering into the batter mix. This snack goes well served with finger chips, coleslaw or any sauce of your choice. It can also be eaten on its own. Making of the magical batter used for the outer casing is the vital element in preparing the batter fried chicken; hence do use the correct volumes and quantities according to your taste which would enhance the taste of the fried chicken.

 

To enjoy eating a luscious and juicy batter fried chicken, do remember to brine the chicken firstly and then marinate it in the spicy batter which will help in blending all the ingredients well. Deep frying the batter coated chicken would surely result in having a crispy, crusty, tender and moist meat which would obviously be a finger licking snack. Black pepper is the vital ingredient that gives the actual savor and zest to the dish, hence add in the right amount of pepper to taste.

Recipe of Batter Fried Chicken:

  

Ingredients:

Chicken                                  -       1000 gms

Pepper powder                     -    1 tbsp

Salt                                              -      to taste

Eggs                                           -     2 nos

All-purpose flour (maida)   -      200 gms

Soda                                         -       ½ cup

 

Method:

  1. Take a bowl and add the chicken pieces, salt and water. Place it in the refrigerator overnight.
  2. Take a bowl, add pepper powder, salt, all-purpose flour, eggs, soda and mix well to make thick batter.
  3. Take out the chicken, drain the water and dip it into the flour batter and let it rest for another 1 hour.
  4. Deep fry the chicken in hot oil at 170 degree C for about 16 to 20 minutes.
  5. Serve hot.

Doesn't matter, he probably means a draft like budwieser. If you put something thicker,a stout like murphys or guiness it will be thicker, maybe add a small amount of water if it isn't thin enough.

its better to double fry, first fry for around 7 min and let the chicken sit in basket for 3 min and fry again for 3 min best crispy texture
