Ingredients used in basic chicken pickle
• Chicken - 1 kg.
• Vinegar - 2 teaspoons.
• Water - as required.
• Oil - to fry.
• Fengreek powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Mustard powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder (optional) - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder - 1 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Garlic - 15 cloves.
• Lemon juice - 1 cup.
• Mustard seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Take chicken cut into small pieces.
  • Boil water in a pan then add vinegar and chicken into it.once it is cooked transfer into a plate.
  • Take oil in a frying pan add the cooked chicken and fry it.
  • In another bowl add fenugreek powder, mustard powder,turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, garlic, lemon juice and mix well.
  • Now take a pan add 1 cup oil, mustard seeds, fried chicken, then add spices and mix well, once the pickle cools down then transfer it to a jar.
