Ingredients used in SUBZ PALAK MAKKAI WALA
• Soya chunks - 1/2 cup.
• Oil - 1 tablespoons.
• Onion - 1/2 cup.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Garam masala - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Carrots(diced) - 1/2 cup.
• French beans(pieces) - 1/2 cup.
• Green bell pepper(chopped) - 1/2 cup.
• Tomato - 1 number.
• Corn - 1 cup.
• Kasuri methi powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Lime juice - 1 tea spoon.
• Spinach(chopped) - 1 cup.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
  • Soak soya chunks in hot water until it become soft and strain water.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add onion and saute it, later add ginger garlic paste and cook until it turns brown in colour.
  • Add little water, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, garam masala and saute it.
  • Add carrots, french beans, green bell pepper, tomato and saute it, later cook for 3 minutes.
  • In a blender and add corn and blend into coarse paste and this to above vegetable pan and add spinach, coriander leaves, cook for 4 minutes.
  • To it add pieces of soya chunks,kasuri methi powder and mix nicely, later add lime juice and mix it.

Now subz palak makkai wala is ready to serve.
