Ingredients used in Simmered Flat Fish
• Karei (flat fish) - 4 numbers.
• Sake - 1/3 cup.
• Soy sauce - 4 tablespoons.
• Sugar - 1 tablespoon.
• Mirin - 2 tablespoons.
• Ginger (grated) - 1 tea spoon.
• Water - half cup.
Method:
  • In a pan, add water, sake, soy sauce, mirin, sugar and bring to boil.
  • Add fish in the pan and simmer for 10 min. on medium heat.
  • Add ginger in the pan and stop the heat.

serve hot.
