Ingredients used in Simmered Flat Fish
• Karei (flat fish) - 4 numbers.
• Sake - 1/3 cup.
• Soy sauce - 4 tablespoons.
• Sugar - 1 tablespoon.
• Mirin - 2 tablespoons.
• Ginger (grated) - 1 tea spoon.
• Water - half cup.
Method:
In a pan, add water, sake, soy sauce, mirin, sugar and bring to boil. Add fish in the pan and simmer for 10 min. on medium heat. Add ginger in the pan and stop the heat. serve hot.
