SALLI-POTATO STICKS

Ingredients used in SALLI-POTATO STICKS
• Chow chow - 2 cup.
• Onions - 1 numbers.
• Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoons.
• Oil - as required.
• Salt - to taste.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Cumin powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Coriander powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Red chili powder - 1 tablespoons.
• Garam masala - 1/2 cup.
• Water - 2 cup.
• Tomato puree - 1/2 cup.
• Potato julians - 1 cup.
• Coriander leaves - 1 bunch.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the potato julians to light brown colour and sprinkle salt on them then keep it aside.
  • Take a pan and add oil, cumin seeds, chopped onions, salt and cook it on medium flame for 2 minutes.
  • Then add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala, tomato puree and saute it.
  • Now add chow chow, water and keep the lid on to cook it for 20 minutes and then check for seasoning.
  • Add coriander leaves to the same pan and mix it well.
  • Now take the mixture into a bowl and add fried potatoes on top of it before serving.

Chow chow kaara kuzhambu is my fav.. Chef u should try it with some tamarind :) at the end.. Trust me you ll enjoy d veggie more..
