Ingredients used in Papaya Payasam
• Papaya - 1 cup.
• Ghee - 1 tablespoon.
• Cashew nuts (chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Almonds (chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Sugar - 1 cup.
• Saffron strands - 1-2 strands.
• Milk - 1 cup.
• Rice flour - 1 tea spoon.
• Khoya (grated) - 1/4 cup.
Method:
  • Finely chop papaya into thin slices and keep aside.
  • Heat ghee in a pan, add chopped cashew nuts, almonds, roast them byadding grated papaya.
  • Now add sugar and cook until the sugar syrup reaches to required consistency.
  • Then add saffron strands, milk along with rice flour to turn the consistency little thicker.
  • Add grated khoya and cook well.

Papaya Payasam is now ready to serve.
