Ingredients used in Pandu Mirapakaya Kadi Pakodi
• Red chilies/ pandu mirchi (chopped) - 10 no.
• Crushed coriander seeds - 1 tablespoon.
• Cooking soda - pinch.
• Chickpea flour - 1 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Water - as required.
• Oil - as required.
• Butter milk - 1 cup.
• Pepper corns - 1 tablespoon.
• Cloves - 5 number.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Fenugreek seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - pinch.
• Hing - pinch.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Ginger (chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Dry red chilies - 2-3 number.
Method:
  • Prepare a thick batter of crushed coriander seeds, cooking soda, chickpea flour, salt, finely sliced red chilies, onion by using water and deep fry in hot oil.
  • Take chickpea flour in a bowl, add water, buttermilk and mix it to a thin batter.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add peppercorns, cloves, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, turmeric powder, hing, curry leaves, chopped ginger, saute well, transfer the prepared buttermilk mixture and let it cook for about 3 minutes.
  • Transfer the preparedpakodas, toss it and top it with chopped coriander leaves.

Delicious Pandu Mirapakaya Kadi Pakodi is now to ready to serve with hot rice or roti of your choice.
