Ingredients used in Masala Rotti
• Rice flour - 250 grams.
• Cumin seeds - half tea spoon.
• Curry leaves - 1 spring.
• Salt - to taste.
• Green chili - 3 numbers.
• Onion - 1 numbers.
• Sesame seeds - 1 pinch.
• Ajwain (carom seeds) - 1 pinch.
• Water - as required.
• Oil - as required.
Method:
  • Take half cup of water in a good size vessel add jeera, ajwin, salt, til and tea spoon of rice atta and mix itproperly, to remove the lumps of rice atta and bring it boil when starts boiling add the remining rice atta and mix good and let it stand till it turns warm or cold.
  • Now add chopped onion, chilli( Add as per your taste), and curry leaves.
  • Knead it by adding water to make dough which is lump free (like chappathi dough).
  • Use a plastic sheet (like what as been used to make puran poli) spread a drop of oil on the sheet and take dough ( size good to make a chappathi) apply little oil on the roller to avoid sticking and roll it like chappathi and thick ness of 5-6mm.
  • Heat the tava, drop few drops of oil and roast the rotti and toss it to roast on the other side. Roast till you find golden brown spots.

Sreve hot with butter and spicy Coconut chutney for break fast / lunch / dinner.
