Ingredients used in Khoya Paneer Mutter
• Paneer - 200 grams.
• Green peas - 150 grams.
• Onion - 2 number.
• Tomato - 2 number.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Red chilli - 1 tea spoon.
• Garam masala - 1 tablespoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Green chilli paste - 1 tablespoon.
• Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon.
• Khoya - 100 grams.
• Fresh cream - 2 tablespoon.
• Cashew nut - 50 grams.
• Green cardamom - 5 number.
• Oil - 2-3 tablespoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Coriander leaves - 1/4 bunch.
Method:
  • Make a thin paste of cashew nut and keep it a side.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add cardamom, chopped onion and salt, cook it for 2 minutes.
  • Then add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, green chilli paste, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and tomatoes let it cook for some time.
  • In the same pan, add thin cashewnut paste, green peas, paneer , garam masala powder and cook it well and then add Kohya along with half cup of water, mix it well. Let it cook for some time and then add fresh cream.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve it hot.

 It's on just about every menu of Indian restaurant all over the place. But every cook makes it their unique specific way, by changing the gravy consistency this dish works well with Rice as well as Roti/Chapatti/Naan/Indian bread which you decide on.

 You may prepare gravy in advance and freeze it about 4 days. Any time you want to have matar paneer, heat a pan, add 1 tsp of oil, fry the gravy and add Indian cheese(paneer) cubes. Mix well and add water to modify the consistency, that’s it, your instant matar paneer is ready in no time.

 How to make Paneer at home for Mutter Paneer:

 Paneer is a lot easier than other cheese to make at home. It takes only few hours for all procedure and just two ingredients- To make yummy paneer boil milk and an acid (lemon juice or vinegar) is added, add producing into lumps and greenish whey are separated. Paneer are simply pressed into a cube after which sliced up or chopped or grated.

Benefits:

 Indian cheese (paneer) is a rich supply of calcium. This can help in building strong teeth and bones. Paneer provides the health advantage of protecting against osteoporosis, that is a problem of old age.  Ladies who have accomplished menopause and men above 65 years of age should make it a rule to add it in their diet to obtain 25% of calcium through food.

Paneer taken in moderation may help in reduce weight. It's good to remember that lots of people who want to lose weight, include Indian cheese or paneer in their diet plan. Paneer also provides the benefits of reducing the development of insulin resistance syndrome. Hence it's all about dealing with the issue of insulin dependent diabetes.
