Ingredients used in KARA SEV
• Chick pea flour - 1 cup.
• Rice flour - 2 tablespoons.
• Roasted chana dal powder - 2 tablespoons.
• Butter - 1 piece.
• Soda - 1 pinch.
• Carom seeds (ajwain) - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Oil - as required.
• Salt - to taste.
• Red chili powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Hing - pinch.
Method:
  • In a bowl add chick pea flour, rice flour, roasted chana dal powder, butter, soda, carom seeds (ajwain), red chili powder, hing, salt and mix it shortcrust method.
  • Now make it into the dough by adding water.
  • Heat oil in a pan and Keep a ball of dough on the ladle and rub it through the holes.
  • The dough falls through the holes into the hot oil in the shape of small sticks.
