Ingredients used in Chicken In White Rassa Pandhra
• Onion (chopped) - 2 numbers.
• Raisins - 1 tablespoon.
• Whole red chilly - 4 numbers.
• Oil - 3 tablespoons.
• Red chili seeds - 1 tablespoon.
• Dry coconut powder - 3 tablespoons.
• Cashew nuts - 50 grams.
• Whole garam masala (each) - 4 numbers.
• Coriander seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Poppy seeds - 1 tablespoon.
• Yogurt - 2 tablespoons.
• Coconut milk - 2 cups.
• Chicken - 1000 grams.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon.
• Green chili - 4 numbers.
• Coriander (chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
  • Heat a pan add poppy seeds, coriander seeds, whole garam masala, cashew nuts, lightly toast the ingredients, switch off the flame and add dry coconut powder, red chilly seeds, put it into the blender make a fine paste.
  • Take a pan heat oil and add red chilly, cumin seeds, cashew nuts, raisins, saute it, add chopped onions, salt, ginger garlic paste cook this till raw flavor is gone.
  • Add chicken pieces, mix it and put the lid on let it cook for 10 minutes.
  • Add 3 tablespoons made masala paste mix it and cook for 3 minutes.
  • Add yogurt, coconut milk, green chilly (optional) cook this for 5 minutes in a slow flame, switch off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves.

Serve this with roti, bhakri, pulkas, puri, and rice.
