Ingredients used in Black Masala Chicken Fry
• Chicken - 500 grams.
• Coriander seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Black cardamom - 3 number.
• Star anise - 3 number.
• Cinnamon stick (1 inch) - 2-3 number.
• Kalonji - 1 tea spoon.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Peppercorns - 1 tea spoon.
• Cloves - 5 number.
• Brown onion - 1 tablespoon.
• Oil - as required.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Water - as required.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Coriander leaves - 1 bunch.
• Mint leaves - 1 bunch.
• Salt - to taste.
• Curd - 1 cup.
Method:
Dry roast coriander seeds, cumin seeds, black cardamom, star anise, cinnamon stick, kalonji, mustard seeds, peppercorns, cloves. Then grind them to a fine powder by even adding brown onion. Heat oil in a pan, add chicken and cook it till color changes to slightly brown in color. Now, season it with turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, curry leaves, coriander and mint leaves, salt (to taste), curd, let it cook for 3 more minutes with closed lid. After that sprinkle ground masala powder along with water and fry for few more minutes. DeliciousBlack Masala Chicken Fry is now ready to serve.
