BEETROOT AND SPINACH FRY

Ingredients used in BEETROOT AND SPINACH FRY
• Onion(chopped) - 1 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Curry leaves - 1 spring.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Green chilli - 4 numbers.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Moong dal - 2 tablespoons.
• Beetroot - 200 grams.
• Spinach - 4-5 bunch.
• Mint leaves (chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Garam masala - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - ½ tea spoon.
• Chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Fresh coconut (grated ) - 2 tablespoons.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions, salt, curry leaves, turmeric, green chilies, ginger garlic paste, cook for 5 minutes.
  • Now add moong dal (soaked in water) cook for 2 minutes with the lid on.
  • Add grated beetroot cook till beetroot is tender the then add chopped spinach, mint leaves, garam masala powder, coriander powder, chili powder saute it and add coconut mix it well.

Serve with roti or rice.
