Basic Onion Tomato Gravy Using Pressure Cooker

Ingredients used in Basic Onion Tomato Gravy Using Pressure Cooker
• Cumin powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Chilly powder - 1 cup.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Tomatoes - 1000 grams.
• Onions - 1000 grams.
• Coriander powder - 1 cup.
• Oil - 3-4 tablespoons.
Method:
  • Take a pressure cooker in this add oil heat it and add onions, salt, saute acute; it.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes, turmeric powder, chilly powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, mix this and put the lid on and let it cook for 15 to 20 minutes in a slow flame (4 to 5 whistles).
  • Use this gravy in many veg and nonveg curries.

Hello sir i did it as you told but with little amount of vegetables like 3 onion and 3 tomato... While cooking in cooker it got deep-fried into carbon... I'm dissapointed... Should I have added water...?! Plz answer me

Vahchef onion tomato gravy is the basic sauce/curry base for most Ghanaian sauces...I make it and freeze portions for most of my recipes...Thanks for the pressure cooker recipe...love you bunches...:)
