Ingredients used in ATUKULA KHICHDI
• Flattened rice - 2 cup.
• Yellow grams - 1/2 cup.
• Pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Cumin seeds powder - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Asafoetida - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Ginger pieces - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Green chillies - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Palm oil - 50 grams.
• Ghee - 2 teaspoons.
• Cashew nuts - 1 tablespoons.
• Bengal gram - 1 teaspoons.
• Black gram - 1 teaspoons.
• Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoons.
• Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoons.
• Dry red chillies - 2 numbers.
Method:
  • Boil yellow grams, then wash flattened rice and keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, bengal gram, black gram, dry red chillies, cashew nuts, curry leaves and yellow grams, then mix it thoroughly.
  • Now add flattened rice then mix it again and sprinkle water on it and add salt, pepper powder, ginger green chilli paste.
  • Then add ghee and mix it well, then close it with a lid and switch off.
  • After cooling, serve this dish which will be very tasty.
