Fried Rice is a very popular Indo-Chinese recipe involving stir fry of veggies with rice and seasoning it with a variety of sauces. Mushroom Fried Rice is another quick and easy to make delicious Rice dish from the Indo-Chinese recipe list. It can be served on its own or with a gravy dish like Vegetable Manchurian or with Broccoli, Mushroom & Bell Peppers in Chilli Garlic Sauce or any gravy of choice.

Bell Pepper and Mushroom Fried Rice

Ingredients used in Bell Pepper and Mushroom Fried Rice
• Garlic (chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Ginger (chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Onions (chopped) - 1 number.
• Green chilies (chopped) - (3-4) numbers.
• Butter - 1 tablespoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Mushroom pieces (chopped) - 100 grams.
• Red & green bell peppers (cubes) - 100 grams.
• Rice (cooked & fluffy) - (2–3) cups.
• Msg or ajinomoto - 1 pinch.
• Pepper powder - ½ tea spoon.
• Tomato ketchup - 1 tea spoon.
• Soya sauce - 1 tea spoon.
• Greens of spring onions (chopped) - 2 tablespoons.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 bunch.
• Lime juice - ½ number.
Method:
  • Heat a pan and add chopped garlic, ginger, onions, and saute them.
  • To it, even add chopped green chilies, butter, a little salt and saute it well for a minute.
  • Add mushroom pieces in it and saute it again.
  • Later, even add red and green color bell peppers, mix well until the veggies are slightly cooked.
  • When the mushrooms are just cooked, add in the cooked and fluffy rice, msg or ajinomoto, pepper powder, tomato ketchup, and soya sauce and toss it well.
  • Add green of spring onions (finely chopped), chopped coriander, lime juice and toss it once.

Chef, if you have to use fat, why not use ghee instead of butter? At least ghee is much much healthier than butter and has a high smoke point unlike butter. Secondly, it really is not right to use things like msg and then have be fit be cool series o

If you're going to use MSG, then stop even bothering with cooking.  Open box of mac and cheese, sprinkle on MSG.  That's what you're doing.  You're adding fake savory flavor, and the substance no longer matters.  Toast with MSG.   The
