Ingredients used in APPLE KHEER RECIPE
• 1/4 tsp cardamom powder - .
• 1 liter milk - .
• 4 apples - 1 big.
• 4 almonds - .
• 4 tsp sugar - teaspoons.
• 4 pistas - .
Method:
Boil the milk in a pan. Add sugar to it, stir and cook on a medium flame till the milk gets reduced to half. Now add grated apples to it. After first boil, remove from the flame. Sprinkle with almonds, cardamom powder and pistas. Apple Kheer is ready. You can serve it hot or cold.

I saw another recipe where they cooked grated apples and sugar on a pan (do not add any oil!).. the apples caramelize and all the citrus is evaporated (since there wont be any water left).. try it

first u saute grated apple in ghee/butter till it gets cooked .then add 2tbsp of rice flour to the milk and reduce it .after that add apple reduce fire .u can add cooked sago also. this kheer tastes good when served chilled.

seems it vud b better to add the apples to condensed milk and then add the nuts and/or spices... no cooking involved over in a jiffy i wouldn't call it apple kheer... more like the condensed version of this recipe!!!

As soon as i added the apple to milk the milk curdled, but thank God i did not use a large quantity of milk.

Hi tried making the Apple Kheer.. Reduced the quantity of milk to 1/2 and the moment I added the apple the milk curdled. I have heard of apple kheer being made.. but there should be another way of making it without spoiling the milk.

I just tried this out. Milk curlded as soon as I added grated apple into the boiled milk. I think, it is a really bad idea to add apple into the boilied milk. I had to just throw everything (20 servings).
