Aloo Mutter Paneer Curry tastes great with both roti and rice. Aloo as known as potato tastes even more excellent when combinedly cooked with mutter.

Tips for cooking Potato:

To prevent a peeled potato from falling apart during cooking, soak in cold salt water for 10-15 minutes prior to cooking.
Add a little lemon juice or a teaspoon of vinegar to the water when boiling potatoes to prevent them from discoloring.

Ingredients used in Aloo Mutter Paneer Curry
• Oil - as required.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Green chilies (chopped) - 2 number.
• Red chili powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Tomato puree - 1 cup.
• Boiled potatoes/aloo (chopped) - 3 number.
• Green peas/ muttor - 1/2 cup.
• Cashew nuts (powder) - 1/2 cup.
• Water - as required.
• Paneer (cubes) - 100 grams.
• Capsicum/bell pepper (chopped) - 1 number.
• Garam masala powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Fresh cream - 1/2 cup.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1/2 bunch.
Method:
Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onions, salt, turmeric powder, green chilies, red chili powder, tomato puree and cook till oil oozes out of the gravy. Now add boiled potato pieces, green peas, powdered cashew nuts along with some water and cook it to your minutes. Add paneer, capsicum, garam masala powder, fresh cream to the same pan and cook by stirring occasionally for about 15 minutes. Finally add some chopped coriander leaves. Aloo Mutter Paneer Curry is now ready to serve.
