Ingredients used in Vermicelli Payasam
• Milk - 750 grams.
• Sugar - 1(1/2) cup.
• Vermicelli - 100 grams.
• Chopped & fried dry fruits - 1/4 cup.
• Pure ghee or butter - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
  • Heat ghee in a pan. Add vermicelli and fry till light brown and keep aside.
  • Now heat milk in a bowl and let it boil until the milk reduces to half. When it reduces to half, add roasted vermicelli and cook for a while.
  • Add sugar and cook until all the sugar melts. Stir in dry fruits. Cool and serve.

Delicious Vermicelli payasam is ready to serve.
