YOGURT (CURD) CAKE

Ingredients used in YOGURT (CURD) CAKE
• Eggs - 3-4 numbers.
• Sugar - 1-1/2 cup.
• Ghee - 1/2 cup.
• Vanilla essence - 1 tea spoon.
• Baking powder - 1-1/2 tablespoon.
• All purpose flour - 2-1/2 cup.
• Salt - 1 pinch.
• Cardamom powder - half tea spoon.
• Yogurt - 1 cup.
• Ginger powder - 2 pinch.
• Sugar - 1-1/2 cup.
• Cherry(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Tutti frutti - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
  • First separate the egg yolks and egg whites in two bowls.
  • In the egg yolks bowl add sugar, use a hand blender mix it well then add ghee little by little add vanilla essence, cardamom powder, ginger powder, yogurt, dry fruits (cherry, tutti frutti) mix it well.
  • In a bowl, add all purpose flour, baking powder, mix it well and keep it aside.
  • Take a egg whites bowl and whisk it well and add pinch of salt again whisk it.
  • Take yogurt mixture in this add all purpose and soda mixture and mix it well, then add the half of the egg whites and mix it, again we add remaining portion of the egg whites and mix it well.
  • Pour the mixture into the mould and bake it 180 degree centigrade for 45 to 50 minutes.
  • Then cut the cake into pieces then serve as snack.
