Ingredients used in Tomato Coconut Curry
• Tomatoes (medium) - 4 numbers.
• Fresh coconut (grated) - 1 cup.
• Green chilies (chopped) - 4 numbers.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Red chilies - 2 numbers.
• Coriander powder - 2 teaspoons.
• Turmeric powder - pinch.
• Curry leaves - 9 leaf.
Method:
  • Grind the coconut, sliced onion, red chili powder, 1 pinch of turmeric powder, cumin seeds together well.
  • Slice the tomatoes into small pieces, the green chilies (long pieces).
  • Add the paste to the cut tomatoes along with 2 cups of water to it, the coriander powder, curry leaves, 2 pinches of turmeric powder.
  • Cook till the tomatoes are totally cooked or smashed. (If you like spicy food, add more chilies).

Serve with steaming plain rice.
