Ingredients used in Tomato chutney
• Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoons.
• Garlic cloves - 5 piece.
• Tamarind - to taste.
• Green chillies ( medium size) - 6 numbers.
• Tomatoes - 6 numbers.
• Chopped corinader leaves - small.
• Oil - 4 teaspoons.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
First take tomatoes , wash them and cut them into pieces and keep a side. In a Pan add oil, tamarind, green chillies,cut pieces of tomatoes and with closed lid cook them till water from tomatoes evaporates. In a blender,first blend the cumin seeds,salt ,garlic cloves, tamarind ( from pan) and green chillies (from pan). finally add cooked tomatoes and blend it to a fine paste. At last garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve it. same procedure can be used for making any vegetable chutney.
