Ingredients used in Thalipeeth-Mixed flour Thepalas
• Chopped onion - 1 small.
• Salt - to taste.
• Pepper powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Red chilli powder - 1 tablespoons.
• Coriander powder - 2 tablespoons.
• Besan(gram flour) - one-fourth cup.
• Wheat flour - half cup.
• Bajra flour - 1 cup.
• Jowar flour - 2 cup.
• Rice flour - 4 cup.
• Chopped coriander - 1 bunch.
• Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Ajwain - 1 teaspoons.
• Oil - to fry.
Method:
Mix all the flours together. In another bowl add salt,pepper,turmeric,red chilli powder,coriander powder,ajwain,chopped onions,chopped coriander and little oil. Mix all the ingredents properly with hands. Now add the mixed flour and knead it into soft dough by adding little water. Make round balls out of dough and roll them into small chapatis. Please note that dough will be little sticky hence it is require to roll the balls onto a plastic sheet by applying some water on the sheet and pressing the round balls by hands to make it into a chapati. Heat some oil in a pan and fry the chapatis till done. This can be served hot with curd or pickle.
