This isn't the correct way to make selroti. The batter shouldn't be creamy and thick . After deep frying you soaked in sugar syrup which is completely wrong . Sugar has to be added at the time of batter preparation. Anyway ... you tried .?

Selroti is popular during festival of Tihar/ Depawali amd Nepalese dont have it for every breakfast. potato salad looks like dish called Aludum and goes well with selroti but its hot dish.?
