Ingredients used in Seared Moroccan Tofu
• Tofu - 250 grams.
• Soy sauce - half cup.
• Lemon juice - 3 tablespoons.
• Molasses - 3 tablespoons.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cinnamon powder - half tea spoon.
• Sesame oil - to fry.
• Spike seasoning - 1.5 teaspoons.
• Saffron - 1 pinch.
Method:
  • Press tofu to remove excess water. cut into 2*2 squares.
  • Add reamining ingredients in blender and blend into fine paste.
  • Marinate tofu into paste for at least 1 hour. Remove tofu, reserve marinade.
  • Heat a pan over high heat. Turn down heat to medium.
  • Add oil, then add tofu and cooktofu each side, brushing each side with marinade, until slightly blackened.

Serve hot.
