Ingredients used in SAGO DELIGHT
• Sago (small) - 1 can.
• Coconut milk - 1 cup.
• Sugar - 1 cup.
• Pomegranate seeds - 1 cup.
• Egg yolk - 1 number.
• Vanilla essence - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Chocos (crushed) - 1 tablespoons.
• Water - 2 cups.
Method:
  • Take a pan, add more water, sago and cook it for 5-8 minutes until sago is transparent.
  • Add coconut milk, ½ cup sugar to the above pan, mix nicely and let it boil on high flame.
  • Blend pomegranate seeds into paste in mixie jar.
  • In another pan, add pomegranate paste, egg yolk, ½ cup sugar, vanilla essence mix it. Later cook it until it become thick mixture by switching on the flame. Transfer into piping bag.
  • Take a serving glass, pour sago mixture as a base on it. Now, spread pomegranate mixture as a layer.
  • On it, spread another layer of sago.
  • At last, spread crushed chacos, another layer of pomegranate.

Serve it chill.

You have great innovative recipes here. I have never even thought about a dessert like this. It looks so yum and I really want to try it. Can I use custard powder instead of the egg yolk as I am allergic to eggs??

your Sago delight looks really nice. we normally cook sago with coconut milk and sugar. This is a wonderful idea. Thanks Mrs Vah Chef. I watch your recipes and husband,s I learned many things. Thank u both.?
