Ingredients used in Radish Puttu
• Turmeric power - 1/4 tablespoons.
• Radish - 1/4 grams.
• Salt - 1/2 tablespoons.
• Fennenl seed - 1 tablespoons.
• Red chili - 4 numbers.
• Bengal gram - 1 cup.
• Onion - 1 numbers.
• Curry leaves - 7 numbers.
• Oil - 5 tablespoons.
Method:
Soak the Bengal grams for 2 hrs and drain all the water. Grind it along with red chili, fennel seed and salt to a coarse texture and keep asaid. Shred the radish and cook with salt and turmeric power. Donrsquo;t add water while cooking and keep asaid In a frying pan add 3 tsp of oil and fry the onion and curry leaves. Fry the onion till it transparent. Then add Bengal gram mixture and cooked radish . Cook it in medium flame for 20 mints. Donrsquo;t allow it to stick in the pan. add oil when required. Then simmer and cook until it resembles the texture shown. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve as a side for rice.
