Ingredients used in Quick n Easy Egg Halwa
• Ghee - 1 cup.
• Sugar - 250 grams.
• Yellow color - pinch .
• Milk - 500 ml.
• Elachi powder - half teaspoons.
• Semolina / sooji - 100 grams.
• Eggs - 6 numbers.
• Cinnamon - 1 stricks.
• Cardamom - 2 numbers.
• Dry fruits ( almonds, cashew nuts, raisins etc) - .
Method:
Add all the ingredients ( except cinnamon, cardamom and dry fruits) in a bowl and mix nicely. Keep separately. Take a pan, add upto 1 cup ghee ( u can add more in the end, if it looks dry). Add cinnamon sticks, cardamom and dry fruits fry them till brown. Then add the mixture and keep moving it in the pan till cooked nicely, Keep it on sim and close the lid for 5- 10 mins. ITS DONE! PS: i know the original EGG HALWA is much richer and is baked. Hope VahChef will show us how to make that. This recipe is originally from my Aunt in India, who is a super cook n my 2nd guru after Mom. This is for those of you who like me love cooking in a jiffy.
