Ingredients used in puffed rice pulihoraa
• Tamarind pulp - totaste .
• Salt - to taste .
• Haldi - 1/2 spoon .
• Curry leaves - few .
• Red chilies - 2 .
• Channa dal - 1 spoon .
• Urad dal - 1 spoon .
• Mustard seeds - 1 spoon .
• Oil - 3 spoons .
• Puffed rice - 500 grams.
• Hing - a pinch .
• Jagary - taste .
• Daliya(putnala papu or roasted channa dal) - 4 tbs .
Method:
soak puffed rice and squeeze it .and keep aside.take a pan add oil.mustard seeds,urad dal red chilly curry leaves,channa dal,haldi tamarind pulpjaggary salt.hingand allow to boil until oil seperates from the tamarind mixture....thn add the puffed rice to it and thn grind daliya and add to the puffed rice.
