Ingredients used in PRAWN MALAI CURRY
• Sugar - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Coconut milk - 1 cup.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Chillie powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Tomato puree (home made) - 4 numbers.
• Ginger paste - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Onion paste - 1 cup.
• Prawns - 300 grams.
• Green chilles - 1 number.
• Whole garam masala - 1 number.
Method:
  • Cut the onion really fine.blend it in a fine paste.
  • In a hot pan, add oil and in it add the whole garam masala, add the onion paste.
  • Fry till the oil is separated add ginger paste andfry for a while add chille powder, and very little turmeric powder.l this dish looks best when it is white in colour.
  • Add the tomato puree. sort for a while. now add the prawns. cook it well untel the prawns change its colour.
  • Now add the coconiut milk, salt and sugar. simmer it in low flame for a few mintues. juts before serving add some desi ghee and garnish it with slit green andred chilles.

Serve it with hot steaming rice.
