PLANTAIN SUKKE

Ingredients used in PLANTAIN SUKKE
• Chana dal - 1/4 cup.
• Toor dal - 1/4 cup.
• Tamarind juice - half cup.
• Jaggery - 1/4 cup.
• Plantain - 1 number.
• Turmeric powder - half tea spoon.
• Coriander seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Fenugreek seeds - 1 pinch.
• Red chillies - 8 numbers.
• Fresh coconut powder(grated) - half cup.
• Mustard seeds - half tea spoon.
• Urad dal - half tea spoon.
• Curry leaves - 1 spring.
• Oil - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
  • Peel the plantain and cut into pieces.
  • Boil both the dals.
  • Heat the pan and add chana dal, toor dal, tamarind juice, jaggery, plantain, water, little turmeric powder and mix it, and cook with lid on it.
  • Heat the pan and add coriander seeds, fenugreek seeds, chana dal, red chillies and dry roast later transfer into mixie jar.
  • To it add little turmeric powder, coconut powder and blend into smooth paste.
  • Add the paste, salt to boiling dal mixture and mix it.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves and saute it later transfer into boiling dal mixture then mix nicely.

Now the plantain sukka is ready to serve.

U said cumin seeds instead of coriander seeds while dry roasting and while adding thadka u said channa dal instead of urad dal. please be careful while u say coz n number ppl are watching ur video to learn cooking?
