Ingredients used in Coastal Fish Fry Recipe
• Chilly powder - 1+1/2 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Coconut powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Poppy seeds - 1 tablespoon.
• Fish pieces (betki) - 250 grams.
• Turmeric - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Rice flour - 1 tablespoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil for fry - as required.
• Lime juice - 1 tablespoons.
Method:
  • First dry roast the poppy seeds and put it into the blender make a powder, in this add coconut powder, gingergarlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, chilly powder, turmeric, rice flour, salt, blend all together make a paste, in this add lime juice, add some water mix this like a paste.
  • Take fish pieces and marinate with made masala and rest it for 1-2 hours Then shallow fry in the hot oil.

I would suggest a steak-able fish. King fish, Tilapia, Catfish, Grouper, Mackarel etc.
