Paneer 65
Author : Vahchef
Main Ingredient : Paneer/Cheese
Servings : 4 persons
Published date : March 08, 2019

Ingredients used in Paneer 65
• Paneer(cut into shapes you desire) - 200 grams.
• Green chillies - 2-3 numbers.
• Garlic - 3-4 cloves.
• Curry leaves - 1 spring.
• Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Rice flour - 1 tablespoon.
• All-purpose flour (maida) - 1 tablespoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Garam masala - 1 tea spoon.
• Pepper powder (optional) - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Curd - 2 tablespoons.
• Lemon juice - 1 tea spoon.
• Oil - to fry.
Method:
  • In the blender, blend few green chillies, garlic and curry leaves to a slightly coarse paste.
  • Remove this into a bowl and add Kashmiri red chilli powder (gives a nice reddish colour to the paneer pieces after frying), rice flour, all-purpose flour, salt, garam masala, lemon juice, curd and mix all the ingredients well to a smooth paste.
  • Add little water if required to slightly dilute the paste. Sprinkle some flour on the paneer pieces and keep aside.
  • Gently add the paneer pieces into the masala mix paste and mix well so that all the pieces are coated well with the masala.
  • Heat some oil in a pan/ kadai and when it gets hot, add in the paneer pieces in batches and deep-fry until they become crisp and golden in colour.

Paneer 65 can be eaten by itself as a snack or serve with sauce.

C'mon man...fried, butter, oil, excessive chillies !!! Have you heard of healthy cooking? God bless the hearts of the souls who end up eating this stuff. Sorry but the truth.
