Ingredients used in Mutton Shahi
• Mutton - 1/2 kg.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Onion paste - 1/2 cup.
• Water - as required.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Popy seed - 1 tablespoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Fennel powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Curd - 1 cup.
• Ghee - 1 tablespoon.
• Whole garam masala - 2 number.
• Green chilies (chopped) - 2 number.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Capsicum (chopped) - 1 number.
Method:
  • In a bowl add mutton, ginger garlic paste, onion paste, water, turmeric powder, salt and transfer to a pressure cooker and cook it.
  • Now take the blender and add popy seeds, cumin seeds, salt and make fine powder and transfer into a bowl and add fennel powder, red chili powder, curd, water, salt and mix it well.
  • Take a pan and add ghee, whole garam masala and saute it.
  • Now add earlier prepared mixture and cook it for 15 minutes.
  • Add cooked mutton, green chilies, onion, capsicum and cook it for 5 minutes.

Serve it with hot rice.
