Ingredients used in Mutton Palak & Methi Curry
• Turmeric powder - pinch.
• Salt - to taste.
• Ginger garlic paste - 2 teaspoons.
• Onions - 2 numbers.
• Methi - 1/2 bunch.
• Palak(palakoora) - 1 bunch.
• Mutton(boneless) - 500 grams.
• Oil - as required.
• Red chilly powder - 1 1/2 tablespoons.
• Water - 1/2 cup.
Method:
  • Wash boneless mutton in hot water. Place the mutton in pressure cooker and cook it for 4-5 whistles.
  • Check if the mutton is cooked if not keep it in the cooker and allow 2-3 whistles.
  • Take Palak and clean it well.Now the bunch into small pieces. Similarly clean Methi and separate the leaves and keep them aside.
  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Now add chopped onions and fry them till they are translucent.
  • Add boiled mutton and turmeric. On low heat add ginger garlic paste,salt and red chilly powder.
  • Place a lid and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Now add palak and methi and mix them well with the mutton.
  • Add little amount of water. Place the lid of the cooker and let it be cooked for 3 whistles.

Serve this hot with rice or chapati.
