Ingredients used in Mutton Chilli Fry
• Mutton - 500 grams.
• Fat - 30 grams.
• Onions - 55 grams.
• Garlic - 3 numbers.
• Cloves - 3-4 numbers.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Cumin - 1 tea spoon.
• Ginger - piece.
• Red chillies - 10 grams.
• Tamarind pulp - 10 grams.
• Salt - to taste.
• Water - as required.
Method:
  • Clean and cut meat. Grind chillies, turmeric powder, ginger, cumin and half the onion.
  • Slice the other half of the onion and garlic.
  • Heat fat and fry onion and garlic lightly. Add powdered cloves and fry.
  • Add meat and the ground spices. Fry well cover pan and cook on a slow fire without water for half an hour.
  • Add hot water and salt simmer till meat is tender.
  • When meat is cooked, add tamarind pulp.
  • Cook for a few minutes longer.

Serve it.
