Ingredients used in Mutton And Potato Curry
• Mutton - 500 grams.
• Potatoes - 225 grams.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Garlic - 4 cloves.
• Green chillies - 4 numbers.
• Onions - 1 number.
• Turmeric powder - 1 number.
• Chilli powder - 2 teaspoons.
• Ginger - 1 piece.
• Tamarind/ vinger - to taste.
• Oil - as required.
• Salt - to taste.
• Water - as required.
Method:
Wash and cut up the meat. Wash, peel and cut the potatoes. Slice onions, pell and slice half and ginger.Soak tamarind. Grind remaining half of garlic and ginger. Heat oil and addonions, sliced garlic, ginger and whole chillies. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder and chilli powder. Fry well, sprinkling water from time to times. When well fried add the ground ginger and garlic, meet and fry for 5 minutes. Add potatoes and salt with warm water. Cook gently till meat is tender. Add tamarind water, bring to boil and remove from fire.
