MUSHROOM CHICK PEA LATKIES

Ingredients used in MUSHROOM CHICK PEA LATKIES
• Oil - 2 tea spoon.
• Onions(chopped) - 1 number.
• Mushrooms(chopped) - 1/2 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Chick pea - 1/2 cup.
• Garam masala - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Carrots(boiled and grated) - 1/2 cup.
• Potato - 1 number.
• Green chillies - 2 numbers.
• Red chili flakes - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Spring onions - 1/4 cup.
• Sugar - 1 tea spoon.
• Vinegar - 1 tablespoon.
• Lime juice - 1 tablespoon.
• Garlic - 4-6 cloves.
• Olive oil - 1 tea spoon.
• Onion slices(round) - 1 number.
• Green chillies - 2 numbers.
• Coriander leaves - 1/2 bunch.
Method:
  • Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pan and add onions, mushrooms, salt, cooked and mashed chick pea, garam masala, red chili powder, carrots and saute it.
  • Transfer into a bowl and add mashed potato and mix it.
  • Take small dumpling and make round and flat patties.
  • Heat little 1 teaspoon oil in a pan and place the patties and shallow fry it on both sides, later transfer into a plate.
  • Take a mixie jar and add green chillies, red chili flakes, spring onions, sugar, venigar, lime juice, garlic, olive oil, coriander leaves to blend into a coarse paste later transfer into a bowl and add salt.
  • In the pan heat 3 small chapathi’s along with latkies and transfer into serving plate.
  • On top of it add coarse paste and garnish with round onion slices, lime juice.

Now mushroom chipea latkies are ready to serve.
