For kofta first take chopped cabbage amp; cauliflower ,grated carrot ,2 tbsp ginger garlic paste ,2 tbsp green chilly coriender paste ,besan ,jowar atta ,salt to taste and mix all the items without water ,when mixed well make small balls of it i.e.kofta and deep fry them.For the base put oil in the pan ,(on medium flame) add onions fry them till golden brown,then add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste ,red chilly powder ,tremeric powder ,fry it for 2-3 min then add tomatoes,curd and lemon juice,salt ,cover it for 3-4 min on low flame then add the fried koftas to it and gently mix it and cover it for 4-5 min on low flame now prepare rice,add ghee in a pan ,add cloves,bay leaves,jeera to it ,salt to taste,add equal amount of water as rice so no need to drain the water ,the rice will be ready in 7-8 min on medium flame,when the rice is ready put all the rice on top of the base prepared add mint leaves, fried onions, saffron water and cover it for 15-20 min on low flame for dum.the biryani is ready .

Ingredients used in kofta dum biryani
• Fried onions - 1/2 cup.
• Rice - 400 grams.
• Oil - to fry.
• Salt - to taste.

• Lemon - 1 numbers.
• Curd - 1 cup.
• Jowar or bajra atta - 4-5 tablespoons.
• Besan - 4-5 tablespoons.
• Ginger garlic paste - 4 tablespoons.
