Ingredients used in kinnathappam (coconut milk sweet cake)
• Jeera - 15 numbers.
• Cardamom - 2 numbers.
• Egg - 1 numbers.
• Sugar - 1 and a half cup.
• Coconut(medium) - 1 cup.
• Rice (doppi, raw rice) - 1 cup.
• Salt - 1 to taste.
• Round 1 inch deep plate - 1 numbers.
Method:

Soak rice for 2 hours in water. Grind the rice like thick idly flour. Take thick coconut milk such that it comes to 3 cups. Beat the egg slightly. Break cardamom and jeera. Mix the coconut milk along with the rice flour and add cardamom, jeera, beaten egg, sugar and salt and mix them. Now pour the mixed flour to a plate and then steam for 30 minutes. Serve it in room temperature. Now kinnathappam (sweet cake) is ready.
