Ingredients used in King Prawn Korma Curry
• Prawns - 150 grams.
• Almonds - 10 grams.
• Cashew nuts - 20 grams.
• Melon seeds - 20 grams.
• Poppy seeds - 10 grams.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Cumin seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Whole garam masala (each) - 2 numbers.
• Green chillies - 2 numbers.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tablespoon.
• Tomato puree - 1/4 cup.
• Cumin powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1 pinch.
• Chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Garam masala powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Crush pepper - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Fried onions - 1/2 cup.
• Lime juice - 1 tea spoon.
• Curd - 3 tablespoons.
Method:
Heat water in a pan add Almonds, cashew nuts, melon seeds, Poppy seeds, cook it for 15 minutes then put it into the blender and make a fine paste along with fried onions, keep it a side. Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds, whole garam masala, green chilies, ginger garlic paste, saute it and add tomato puree, cook it for few minutes. Then add prepared nuts paste, add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chili powder, mix it well, add curd, cook this for few minutes. Then add the king prawns and add crush pepper, add lime juice, put the lid on and let it cook for 3 minutes, then add garam masala powder, mix it well and cook for few minutes then switch off the flame.
