Ingredients used in Chicken do pyaza - Murg do pyaza
• Chicken - 500 grams.
• Oil - 3 tablespoons.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Onion (slices) - 1 cup.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon.
• Red chili - 1 number.
• Garam masala - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Lime juice - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Yogurt - 1/2 cup.
• Chili powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Green chili - 2 numbers.
• Onion dices - 2 numbers.
• Dry red chillies - 4 numbers.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds once the cumin seeds splutter add sliced onions, salt cook the onions are golden color then add turmeric, ginger garlic paste cook this till raw flavor is gone.
  • Take yogurt in this add chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder mix it well and add this into the onion mixture and add some water, chicken, green chili pieces, mix it well and put the lid on and cook this till chicken is tender.
  • Heat oil in another pan add dry red chili, onion pieces and red chili, saute it and pour this on the top of the chicken and add garam masala, chopped coriander leaves, lime juice mix it well then switch off the flame and serve it
