- Boil the milk on a slow flame, till 500 ml become 250 ml.
- Then add cashew nuts, cardamom powder and sugar to it and let it boil by stirring occasionally.
- Once the sugar is caramelized, add little water and after few minutes of boiling, switch off the flame.
- Now, take off the peel and seeds of orange, grate it.
- When the milk cools down, add these grated orange and mix it.
- Refrigerate for few more minutes.
Sweet and tasty kheer is now ready to serve.
